BOONE COUNTY, Ky. (WKRC) – A man was arrested Friday in Boone County after officers responded to a report of a car colliding into an embankment.

Jason Konerman, 37, of Florence, was arrested and charged with burglary 1st degree, three counts of burglary 2nd degree, criminal mischief 1st degree, and theft by unlawful taking.

Konerman first burglarized a residence on Brown Road. When he was confronted by the homeowner, he fled, and a single vehicle collision ensued.

Konerman then burglarized two additional homes on Verona Mudlick, before fleeing to Carr Road, where he burglarized an additional home, and stole a truck that was parked in the driveway. He got the truck stuck along the roadside.

The suspect sustained minor injuries, and has been transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence. Once released from the hospital, he will be lodged at the Boone County Jail.
