A missing 19-year-old was found dead Wednesday after going missing in the Indian Hill woods, according to the Hamilton County coroner.

Alex David Cedillo has not been seen or heard from since Monday morning.

The coroner said crews found a young man dead in the woods 200 to 300 feet from a trail. The coroner said the man was visually confirmed as Cedillo. The coroner said a positive identification will be conducted through fingerprints or DNA.

According to officials with the Madeira Police Department, Cedillo was believed to have disappeared in a wooded area between Given and Drake roads.

The circumstances surrounding his disappearance remain unclear.

The coroner said it’s not a homicide. She said they are not ruling out the death to be accidental but believe it was self-inflicted.

The coroner said judging by the teen’s body temperature she believes he had been there for about 24 hours.
