COVINGTON, Ky. (WKRC) – Covington Police have issued a Golden Alert for a missing man with Alzheimer’s.

Family members reported 73-year-old Albert McKnight missing Monday evening. He was last seen at his home just before 7:30 a.m. Monday. Police said at this time, McKnight told his fiancee that he was interested in a job at the University of Kentucky.

When McKnight’s fiancee returned home later Monday, she found he had left the home without his personal care items, cell phone and required medication. McKnight’s credit card had been used several times Monday evening along the I-71 corridor, last used in Louisville around 7:30 p.m.

McKnight was last seen driving a white 2001 Kia Sportage with Kentucky registration 207-VNM. He is described as being around 6-feet-1-inch tall, around 255 pounds and has gray hair and hazel eyes. He also has a noticeable scar on his chest from an open heart surgery.
