CINCINNATI —
Police are investigating after a man was found shot in South Fairmount overnight Wednesday.
The incident took place around 2 a.m. on Hansford Place when police were called for a report of gunshots heard in the area.
Neighbors said they heard two to three gunshots.
Fire crews on the scene found the victim, Ramerise Abernathy, 18, wounded on the street.
Fire officials tried to perform CPR but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said they do not have any information on a suspect and are checking surveillance cameras in the area.
